Liam Neeson returns to the big screen for the 2nd time in 2022 as Alex Lewis, an aging assassin on the edge of retirement.
Now living in El Paso, Texas, and dealing with his slowly declining memory, he takes on one last job. However, he soon learns the details go against his personal code of conduct. When someone else finishes the assignment, Alex makes it his duty to chase down those responsible leading him directly into the path of FBI agent Vincent Serra (Guy Pearce). While their methods differ, both Alex and Vincent are working toward the same goal — taking down a child prostitution ring that leads back to a wealthy, influential real estate magnate Davana Sealman (Monica Belucci). Although thoroughly equipped with a lifetime of developed skills, Alex’s struggle with his memory makes this his most dangerous assignment yet. From director Martin Campbell (GoldenEye, Casino Royale, The Mask of Zorro), Memory is an intense action-drama about retribution and redemption.
With an adapted screenplay by Dario Scardapane (The Punisher, The Bridge), Campbell puts his own distinctive stamp on the 2003 Belgian thriller “The Memory of a Killer”, based on the 1985 book of the same name from author Jef Geeraerts with Memory. By envisioning the story in another part of the world, a thrilling depiction of revenge and desperation, not to mention a great cast led by Neeson, this film is said to satisfy your need for intense action.
