Academy Award nominees Saoirse Ronan (Little Women) and Paul Mescal (Aftersun) star in Foe, a film that delves into the eerie exploration of marriage and identity within an uncertain world. The story revolves around Hen and Junior, who live on a secluded piece of land with a rich family history. Their tranquil existence is upended when an unexpected stranger (Aaron Pierre; Brother) arrives, presenting them with a startling proposition. Based on best-selling author Iain Reid’s novel, directed by Garth Davis (Lion), and co-written by Davis and Reid, Foe’s imagery and persistent questions about the nature of humanity (and artificial humanity) bring the not-too-distant future to life.
Foe releases in theaters in the U.S. on October 6, Canada on October 13, Australia on October 19, UK and Ireland on October 20.
